Cassandra Staples from Batemans Bay continued her good form from round one, with Julianne Joyce from Dalmeny showing her versatility by switching from wing attach to goal shooter in the final quarter.

The SERAS defence was very effective in blunting the opposition attack with Queanbeyan’s Adriana Edwards playing her best game to date.

Narooma athlete, Stephanie Watson, has shown that she is a star of the future with a dominant display in defence for the second week running in the SERAS Division 4 (17/U) team.

Haley Reid from Collector again shot brilliantly and Bega’s Sophia Bonetti played a great support role to help to the academy to a final score of 35 to 14 over South Canberra.

Both teams will be tested in next Sunday’s round three matches when they play the strong Tuggeranong Club.
