ONE hundred and fifty years of Australian Rules Football is upon us and the Tathra Sea Eagles are celebrating this weekend at Lawrence Park.

Sydney Swans’ star recruit and local boy Ed Barlow is to present a medal named in his honour to the best on the ground in the Seniors match between Tathra and Narooma.

During after game presentations the club will also be acknowledging the work that its life members have done over the years.

The club is hoping to see as many members and supporters as possible at the ground on Saturday to help them celebrate.

One of Eden’s favourite sons will be honoured at the Eden Whalers/Pambula Panthers match at Eden.

The Ryan Chester Award for best on ground in the Seniors’ match will be presented in memory of Ryan who died in a car accident earlier this year.

At Dickinson Oval, Bermagui, the Merimbula Diggers will be the ‘home’ side against Batemans Bay Seahawks, with the Steven King award for best on ground up for grabs.
