MEMBER for Eden-Monaro Mike Kelly visited Cooma alongside Bombala Council Mayor Bob Stewart last Thursday evening to launch phase two of the three phase small business program currently being run by the Snowy Monaro Business Enterprise Centre.
Dr Kelly said the Snowy-Monaro Business Growth and Continuity Program delivered under the Australian government funded Building Entrepreneurship in Small Business Program and works to assist small business owners with profit management.
“The program started last year and is now entering its second phase,” Dr Kelly said.
“It will improve productivity of small businesses, which are the lifeblood of Eden-Monaro.”
Dr Kelly said the launch included a profit management seminar run by Simon White from Rainbow Financial Advisers, an overview of the program and a networking session for small business owners.
He said the networking session provided small business owners with the opportunity to discuss small business issues and that the program would consist of five workshops run between August and September.
