19/06/2008 12:23:00 PM
The conference has a clear pasture focus and will be of interest to both dairy farmers and sheep/beef producers.

The conference theme ‘Survive, Adapt, Prosper’ will address a number of current issues facing grassland farmers, with sessions including:

• PlantTech “Research Snippets - GSSA Special Projects”

In addition there will be a selection of bus tours visiting local vegetable, sheep, dairy, beef and cropping enterprises.

On Wednesday 13 August a pre conference tour of DPI Ellinbank is available for delegates. The tour will focus on key research areas including integrated grazing systems, sustainable production and environmental management.
